Testimonials For Support Groups
The facilitators in this class have always been awesome. I have worked with two different sets; one a husband and wife couple and one a man. Both sets had become facilitators after they took the class themselves. They benefited from the class so much that they decided to become certified. I personally think why they are so good at it. They can empathize with the participants because of their own personal experiences.

He listened without judgement while giving feedback such as encouraging me to add more feeling words to my statements. Without that feedback, I don't think I would have had such an amazing recovery. That feedback made me dig deep and really be honest and vulnerable in my letter.

Our program facilitator had a wealth of experience and expertise. When we could not grasp how to apply concepts or readings or assignments to aspects of our loss, she was able to articulate and help us move forward. That was the moment I realized the depth of expertise our facilitator has and uses.

I started the program with Ethel-Anne not long after my dad passed. I had a horrible weekend, torn between Anger, Grief, tears...just inconsolable. I reached out to Ethel-Anne late that night. I am not sure anyone could have helped me through this program the way Ethel-Anne did. She is just so genuine and kind...always asking about me and my family. Checking in. Ethel-Anne helped me work through my emotions and push forward. Her patience and sincerety was so comforting. I met Ethel-Anne years ago through a networking event and reconnected within the last year or so. The GRM was wonderful and helped me - but I would be remiss if I gave GRM all the credit. My dear friend, Ethel-Anne was the best facilitator in the WORLD!!!!

Harolene, was empathic, listened and I felt like she was very vested not only in the program but each participant. She made arrangements for one on one sessions with those that needed it. I would recommend her as the Facilitator of the program for anyone.

The facilitator was well organized, thoughtful and compassionate. She made the group feel comfortable which contributed to members feeling comfortable in sharing.. She made herself available to group members outside of group for questions regarding the assignments or concerns. She presented the material in an organized matter and provided examples of her own experiences. She was outstanding as a facilitator.

Suzanne went at a steady even pace. The information she presented was done a clear and understandable way. She was a good listener and answered all of our questions during the class and outside of the class. She was very kind, friendly, compassionate and understanding. You can feel that she cares of each one of the people attending. She provided a safe and comfortable environment. There should be more Facilitators like her.
