The program opened my eyes to the many different forms of loss not just those caused by death and divorce. I realized that several relationships in my life needed completeness rather than closure. I am now more aware of how to help my daughter with some of her losses and I am more aware of the many facets of loss. The program is very informative and packed with ah ha moments. I am thoroughly thankful to the creator of the program and to Yolanda Mitchum for her delivery and compassion shown. I am completely satisfied.

GRM has been instrumental in allowing me to be an active participant in my own healing. it has allowed me also a way into future healing. And since grief is not a linear process and is unique, I feel so blessed to have this as a tool in my kit for tackling life's uncertainty and pain.

I appreciate the tools and information offered in this class to have a structure to work towards recovery and completion of grief. I am unsure if I have been successful in my recovery, although this program has given me a platform to work on this recovery and I have had some healing through this process. Thank you to the Grief Recovery Institute and facilitator" Dana Nowling ", for this opportunity to learn and the tools to be able to support others through there grief and or loss.

It has been very helpful and has taught me how to grieve without feeling sorry for myself. I still miss my spouse and always will, but it is easier thinking about our life together. Memories are easier to think about. .

During the grief recovery program, I was able to get so much emotions, feelings, & tears. Had I not been in the program they would’ve stayed bottled up inside me which could’ve definitely led to depression or worse. Now I’m ready to move on living and not just existing. Thank you!!!!

I have a much better understanding of the conflicted feelings surrounding relationships. I now also understand the difference between apologizing for my part in a conflict and saying I am sorry. Owning up to my part in a conflict by apologizing lets me accept and learn from the situation and clear the air.

I heard about GRM a few months after the death of my wife. It was a challenging course, but so very with the work and effort required. For me, this was very much a life altering process and study. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity and would highly recommend it to anyone walking through grief or loss.
