Thank you for clicking on my bio! You might feel a little scared about reaching out for help, but you are taking important actions to heal your broken heart.
After experiencing the death of my mother in 2007, I felt lonely and was in search of healing. In the years since, I have actively worked through my grief and am compelled to reach out, help others and offer that same hope to the grieving community. I discovered the Grief Recovery Method® and resonated with the action based approach that I had been looking for in the midst of my own personal grief. I became certified by The Grief Recovery Institute® as a Grief Recovery Specialist in 2011, allowing me to lead Grief Support Groups and One On One programs. My educational background includes a Masters in Social Work from Portland State University in Portland, OR and a B.A in Communications from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame IN. I live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and am willing and able to help guide grievers through this action program. While I live in Eagle County, my services can reach these towns: Eagle, Edwards, Avon, Vail and Minturn. I am also able to travel to Summit and Routt counties for face to face sessions. As an Advanced Specialist, I am able to reach grievers online. The one-on-one online support provides the same helpful tools for your healing in the comfort of your own home as long as you have high speed internet. The online sessions are provided with a secure connection for your safety and confidentiality. I can teach the GRM over different time zones.
If you suspect your life may not as fulfilling as you'd like it to be, or you wish past endings in your life could have gone differently, reach out to learn about grief, unresolved grief and most importantly how to complete what has been left unfinished because of a loss of any kind. This course is helpful for anyone who's ever lost something or someone and who wants to be able to feel joy, happiness, optimism and love again.
