Lois is a GRM master! She leads with her heart and her knowledge base is evident by stories and examples that demonstrate deep life wisdom. I highly recommend Grief Recovery Method as a course for men , women, and young adults and anyone who works with people. We all have and will experience loss and deserve a tried and true program to help to recover from them.

GRM Specialist training from Lois was both personally helpful and professionally executed. I cannot imagine a more thorough introduction to the program. Lois’s passion and commitment to the principles and method were both inspiring and uniting for all of us. We all grieve. We all were supported in our grief to learn for ourselves. The GRM Certification training is one not only to help you begin the healing process of grief, but teaches you compassion and how to identify and recognize the hurt that others may be experiencing. It allows you to listen not only with your ears, but with your heart.

Each week of the program provided new skills and support for recovery. The facilitators modeled each assignment and because they generously shared their journey with the class, participants were comfortable sharing their own truth. At the beginning of each week we were reminded of the boundaries to maintain trust and respect one another.

Worked on a relationship that ended over 15 years ago, but it is always the one that comes to mind when I think about loss of friendship. I am now hopeful that after completing this process I will not experience such pain and turmoil when old memories surface, because I have the resources to deal with them.

This training was absolutely wonderful and Lois was phenomenal! There is so much that I could say about the grief recovery method training but what I will say is that I walked away from this training very confident and educated. Thank you for helping me to unpack my own grief so that I may now help those who reside in my community.

Lois Hall is excellent! She not only explained the concepts, but gave effective real life examples. She is passionate about the process and about us as her specialists. She was patient, empathetic, efficient, understanding, professional, warm, nonjudgmental, open, transparent and gave those of us in the class permission to be the same by her example. She made the 4-day experience powerful, cathartic, and empowering. I felt comfortable being transparent and vulnerable in a setting with 10 other people I didn't know. By the end of the four days, we had become a closely bonded group of specialists excited to serve hope to our community out of loving hearts. Lois led by example and I'm so thankful for leadership. I've gained a friend, a mentor and rich resource as I pursue a career i Grief Recovery. As I told Lois on the last day, I'm ended the 4-day training far healthier and much stronger than when I arrived on the first day! Thank you!

Once I discovered that everyone has grief issues that we deal with but it takes a Method such as the GRM to help undo some of these Old habits.
