Stefanie did an excellent job on facilitating the program for us and for making things relatable. She explained things thoroughly and allowed us enough time in our breakout rooms to be able to talk about our homework and readings.

This program was amazing it assisted me in many losses that I didn’t even know I was grieving. The program has helped me to better provide support to my students with their own losses. I wish this could be apart of the curriculum across our state .

It has help identify the appropriate way of how grief can be addressed for ourselves and the children in our care.

it gave me a better understanding how to not just help myself thru grieve but to help others. That children might not be going thru the grieve of a lose but of others things, it help me to have heart- ears to know how to say things and what to say instead of react to what's say. It also help me to complete the process. what really stuck with me was forgiveness I learned that forgiveness is not a feeling its a action.

It has given me the knowledge to be able to bring back to my classroom as well as my family to be able to deal with grief/ loss in a healthy way. I am more knowledgeable on how to approach the situation and be prepared for it thanks to Stefanie Hall.

The program allowed me to think about how I approach helping my students to deal with grief. The program also allowed me to identify that I myself still have some unresolved grief to deal with and that I can still take the time to work through it as long as I do work through it. Thank you to Dr. Wint and Stefanie Hall for allowing me to participate in the sessions!

On a personal level I feel like this was a mixed experience. i enjoyed learning about the process, but i do not feel it addressed my personal grief and needs. It brought back a lot of negative experiences and trauma that I have worked hard to work through in the past, which has negatively impacted me emotionally. I did find the four statement areas to be useful. Creating those was more beneficial to me than writing the letter or saying them to another person. Some of this might be internal as I prefer working on things like this alone as opposed to in groups.

The program has assisted me in saying good bye to my mother who has Dementia/Alzheimer's and to embrace the mother that I still physically have.

Been feeling better and better. The grief is still there of course, but the program 100 percent helped me come to terms with it.

When the attendees were put in smaller groups to discuss homework, I felt more connected with them as each person shared her response. It was a safe environment to discuss very personal information.
