Testimonials For Naomi Wallace
My facilitator, Naomi Wallace, was patient, knowledgeable, nonjudgemental and kind. She is wise beyond her years. She was so good at helping me when I had difficulty understanding certain concepts of the Grief Recovery Method. She was very helpful in guiding me through the process.

It put my divorce and ex-husband's ego and neglect in perspective. The program made me feel more confident and important. It allowed me to let go of jealousy and anger.

The program helped me to see where I had learned wrong information about grief. Being able to learn more useful tools ensures my recovery from painful events. I believe my relationships will be fuller and more honest. I cannot change the losses of my past...but with this method I am able to be more open and vulnerable with the people I love.

The grief recovery method has helped me think through what is needed and how I should approach situations. I have felt more empowered to address the needs and feelings of my kids. I still find myself making mistakes dismissing some feelings but I know it would have been much more frequent without this course.

Naomi was very empathetic and a great listener. I will be using the information regarding grief/loss to help children who come into my care through the foster system. The program really helped me to see things from their perspective to allow for healing.

Having a group of people that could also relate to my grief, of going through a unwanted divorce with kids, in their own process of grief was helpful. Having a facilitator that also shared from their own experience while supporting us through each of ours was very beneficial to my healing process. It made the group feel safe and strong, so that we could really work though our trauma.

Naomi was a great coach and the program helped me work through recent grief and grief from my past. I learned a lot about grieving, feelings and reactions. I learned that I do not have to let the grief from my life control me. I am very grateful to Naomi and the program.

Greif recovery has provided a framework for which I can return to process any loss. It shed light on the ineffective way I was managing my loss and gave me a chance to step gently through space I feared.

Writing out both the grief timeline and the relationship timeline and then Having a partner that listened to me speak about them was very cathartic. I feel like these are great tools to use for other relationships.

I learned a lot I did not know about the grief recovery process and about unhealthy ways I was approaching different losses in my life. I wish I had more time to do each homework in between each weekly session. It sometimes felt like a lot of information in a short amount of time. I felt safe and cared for throughout the whole program. I plan on going through the process again because I enjoyed it so much and I am looking to learn more. Overall it was a great experience.
