Testimonials For One-on-One Support
I am a retired social worker having worked in mental health administration during a long career. I know from experience that not all helping professionals (or clergy/spiritual advisors) are knowledgeable and experienced with and about grief and the grief process. I was somewhat skeptical of this program, but my intuition lead me to enroll and I am glad I did. I could easily think of a few "tweaks" I'd suggest in the program, but overall I think it is an excellent resource and approach to helping people process grief and loss. I also highly recommend Nancy Hull as a knowledgeable, skillful and empathetic facilitator.

The program was very beneficial. My 19 year old daughter was killed 2 weeks before I started the program. The method was very supportive. Even with my early grief brain I was able to grasp all concepts with clarity and complete the course work on time. I would recommend the method to any one in need of letting go of the pain they are experiencing from any loss.

It has helped me complete my overwhelming emotions going through my divorce. With the program, I was able to make the decision to file for divorce, to pick myself up, and to move forward with my life. This program and Pris saved my life, literally. Honestly, I cannot imagine myself sitting here without the help I got.

First I learn that it not only about death, that I can also grief about other loss. Like jobs loss, other people being lay off, or getting a divorce, losing a pet, and other things. So it was a great experience learning and getting the right information about grieving.

I feel "free" - released from a heavy backpack of heavy rocks I was carrying around for 60 years. I had to dig and painfully go back and relive painful memories but by going through the pain, I was released from it. This is powerful stuff and a tremendous relief. I know so many people who could use this program and benefit from it. I THANK God for your organization.

As a retired hospice nurse and a Christian, I felt that I knew the value of forgiveness and thought that I had forgiven my mom for everything. Francine was able to guide me to such a deep level of understanding that I was able to reconnect with my mom in a way I never thought would have been possible. My memories and my story is different now than it has been since her death in 2011. My only regret is that I didn't find Francine years earlier...My new perspective has been lifechanging... Forever blessed by the work of The Grief Recovery Method and the insightful and skilled Grief Recovery Method Specialist, Francine Masterson.

The program and the facilitator helped me to recognize that I had some lingering grief over a decision I made many years ago to leave my career and become a full-time mom. I learned to recognize I my STERBS and how my emotions and behaviors due to my unresolved grief was impacting me and my family. The facilitator was a great guide when completing my loss history graph and letter. A few times I felt stuck and she was great with reassuring me or giving me support and reminding me to be completely honest with myself.

I am using the grief recovery method to deal with several areas of my life. Specifically a timeline surrounding money. I have recently read the Moving On book and feel this has helped me even more in looking at my past relationships. Great examples in the books that I can relate to.

I spent most of my adult life living with deep sadness, which often lead to heightened nervousness. These feelings became my "normal". Life intimidated me. I knew I had a problem, but didn't know what to do about it. I learned how to cope and compensate, like walking with chains on. I didn't understand my own feelings. My facilitator showed me brand new things, I explored a part of myself I had forgotten. I am different now. I am leading at work, and my voice has returned to me. This is a new life, and I think about how grateful I am several times a day. Every day. I have so much more to learn, I was stunned at what came out during these sessions. Thank you to Heidi, my facilitator.

This program is truly amazing. I was sceptical of how it would work based on my experience at other places. I have learned skills that I can apply in many different aspects of my like now after taking the class with Rachelle. She is amazing!

I was grieving a 25+ year marriage that ended in divorce. I was blaming myself & feeling a bit stuck. This program opened my eyes to the fact that he wasn't perfect, I am NOT to blame for everything that happened.

Prior to starting Grief Counseling with Tara Taylor I had been to roughly 20 different therapists in my life. I had reached a point where I was self medicating to deal with the darkness and I knew I needed something different to help me get through the pain of my past losses. I could not be happier that I called Tara and started Grief Counseling. This course is not normal therapy it is an action based course that helps you work through loss in a logical and yet very emotional way. I was not only completely inspired by this course but I have felt a sense of calm and peace I never thought I would be able feel after it’s completion.

It added a fresh perspective to understanding how things play out in my thinking. I understand that by not being heard as a young adult, affects me today and NOW I have the tools to combat those negative thoughts and feelings.
