Hello I am Melissa Mastrostefano, a Grief Recovery Specialist and a licensed independent clinical social worker in Rhode Island.  In my 30 years of social work experience, The Grief Recovery Method Support Group is the most powerful and effective tool I have come across to help people deal with emotional pain. It changed me from a therapist to a zealous grief educator. We learn how to brush our teeth, tie our shoes and drive a car, but we are not taught how to grieve a loss.  I love teaching the life skill so desperately needed in our society.  I would love to teach you so you too can be free of emotional pain.  

The Grief Recovery Method Support Group truly transforms lives.  In a short amount of time I see profound changes I did not otherwise see as a therapist. The GRM programs are held in a beautiful historic building, a space that is healing and quiet in Newport Rhode Island in walking distance to the ocean.  I bring GRM programs to businesses and organizations through out the state of RI, Northern CT, and Southern MA upon request.

I received my education at Columbia University and my licesnse to practice in 1987.  My practice specialty is helping people with grief and loss. 

My desire is for everyone to go through the GRM program. Past participants say it was life changing and only express regrets for not having been in the program sooner.
