During the summer between my 2 years of Seminary (2014) I was certified in the Grief Recovery Method.  I was ordained as an Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister by One spirit Interfaith Seminary in NYC in 2015 after many years in corporate doing training and organization development and executive coaching. 

I have experienced several losses in my own life, including deaths of family members:  my niece at age 20, my Dad at age 70, and my Mom at age 82. Then my divorce after a 32-year marriage, and leaving my job after 8 1/2 years after a messy restructuring, which changed everything about what I was doing and who I was working for. Oh, and then I had to have my cat put to sleep the day before I left my job.

The GRM has been very helpful to me in completing relationships with loved ones (and not-so loved ones) whether they have passed on or are still living. I have found a lot of peace as a result of doing the work.

I mostly work 1:1 with clients because I feel it gives them the attention they need for doing this very deep work. I have helped clients who have experienced divorce, job loss, death of a spouse, death of a parent, death of a sibling, caretaking for a sibling with dementia, and also death of adult children due to subtance abuse. I've also worked with clients who have had challenging life circumstances find peace with their past. 

Having completed the advanced certification training allows me to do 1:1 GRM sessions over the internet, which removes the geographic restriction as long as the client has an internet connection and a computer with camera and microphone.  I currently live in St. Petersburg, Florida, where I am able to work with clients in person either 1:1 or small groups.
