Carolyn Perrin is a Registered Nurse, working in the field of Obstetrics for 40 years. Carolyn thought she had it all, not physical wealth, but a beautiful family, a place to live, food on the table, and a wonderful career...until her daughter Lindsey died in 2010. Feeling lost and afraid of the future, Carolyn read The Grief Recovery Handbook and saw the potential of survival and hope for the future. Feeling a sense of “calling” she began to be drawn to grief work more and more. She became a Grief Recovery Method Specialist to share her hope with others. During the course of her journey to help others, she found herself, once again, in the depths of grief. Her husband of 46 years was diagnosed with a terminal illness and died 53 days later. She took some time to process her loss and has recently returned to providing grief support to others. Her two surviving daughters live close by and she has been blessed with 4 grandchildren.
