Hi! My name is Monique. I live from my heart, I am authentic, peaceful and humble. I love the beach, the forest and the little birds. To me, animals and children are gifts and they occupy a very special place in my heart. I live a simple and balanced life. I look forward to small things that make me happy everyday, like chocolate! When I am not working with my clients or on my passionate projects, you will find me spending time with my husband, friends or family. I hope to add a baby and a little dog to this list someday.

I have a PhD in clinical psychology, I am a registered psychologist, an international speaker and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®. After working in a hospital for several years, I chose to establish my own private practice in Dieppe (New Brunswick), Canada in order to offer more services in the field of grief. I offer services to children, adolescents and adults who are grieving the loss of a person or a pet.

I lost many loved ones in my life. The grief that has however been the most painful to me, the one that has changed my life forever, is the loss of my little dog Cachou. Like you, I experienced this intense emotional pain that seemed insurmountable. By applying the best grief recovery strategies I learned through the Grief Recovery Method®, I have been able to overcome my personal grief and help hundreds of people as well. My personal experience with pet loss has lead me on a mission to educate as many people as possible regarding grief and recovery, including the grief of a pet so that it is no longer minimized or discounted.
