Hi and welcome!
In the fall of 2021, I experienced grief that I never knew existed when my wife of over thirty-seven years died of complications from COVID-19. As a minister and pastor, I thought I understood grief and loss; I was mistaken. A few months into my grief journey, a friend told me about the Grief Recovery Method and invited me to be a part of her online pilot group. Not only did I learn about grief, but I experienced a level of completion and healing that I never thought would be possible. Through several circumstances, I realized that I wanted to help others on their grief journeys, so I enrolled in the training to become a grief recovery specialist.
I am a new resident of Fayetteville, NC, and can work with individuals or groups online or in person. My goal as a specialist is to help others discover that there is life and joy following loss. I would appreciate the opportunity to help you on your journey, as others have helped me.

This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person or online with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.
