As a Certified Therapeutic Coach and Ordained Minister, I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups to resolve and move forward from difficulties for over 15 years. Many times people are left with an overwhelming feeling of loss from a multitude of life transitions and traumas. I was in the process of putting together my own curriculum to use for support groups and one-to-one sessions when I discovered The Grief Recovery Method. This educational pathway provides tangible, actionable steps to move a person through the grieving process to a place of peace from their emotional pain.

Little did I know when I had scheduled my training that I would be grieving the loss of my dear mother. Her passing occurred 1 week prior to my training. I was able to see first hand how effective the Grief Recovery Process could be, how it's never too soon to begin the healing process, and how much relief comes with recovering from the emotional pain and finding completeness in the process. I have been blessed with the opportunity to sit with families when their loved one is passing, to listen to someone making a decision on when to let go and have been with loved ones when they're passing. I've also had challenges losing friends as a teenager to accidents, illness, and suicide. I'm fortunate to have a close and loving family, but with that the grief from those losses runs deep. One of my greatest challenges I'm currently facing is the slow, agonizing, piece-by-piece loss of my longtime friend to Alzheimer's. The Grief Recovery Method provides a wonderful, actionable way to deal with these losses and more!
