My name is Tamara Conway, but you can call me Tammy. I am so happy that you have decided to explore the GRM program.

I was introduced to the GRM during one of the most challenging periods in our lifetime, COVID-19, by my brother in-law, who is a GRM Specialist and Chemical Dependency Counselor. As it turned out, and he mentioned it would be, the GRM experience has been one of the most profound tools used to help me in my growth as a Life Coach & Trauma Recovery Group facilitator. Personally, it has helped me to dig deep and face some losses that quite frankly, I didn't know I had experienced. My view of loss was enlarged and ultimately was blown out of the water as a result of this GRM program. Things like childhood traumas, sexual abuse, verbal and physical abuse, divorce, loss of trust, as well as losing loved ones that were near and dear to my heart. Not knowing how to grieve or being allowed to express pain or loss, left me with feelings of fear, guilt, shame, and anger. Children with unresolved grief, grow up to be grieving adults. These unresolved losses were sabotaging my life, and relationships, my ability to thrive in my marriage and even parenting my children. I no longer wanted to live in a state of coping...I wanted to HEAL!

After working through the GRM regarding the loss of trust with my parents, I learned that I didn't have to remain in a state of grief for the rest of my life. I was grateful for the tools that helped me to finally learn how to work through and find completion. My overall health, as well as relationships improved, and I feel more equipped to handle the changes, as well as losses that come my way.

As an Advanced, Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist, I love helping others walk through one of the hardest processes one can go through, grief and loss.

I offer 7 & 12 session Grief Recovery Support (1-on-1 & Group) using the Grief Recovery Method, in-person and virtually, as well as conduct educational lectures centered around the GRM and Helping Children With Loss.

I am also a Certified Mental Health Coach, working in Metro Detroit, Michigan area and enjoy motivational & public speaking, serving as a women's ministry board member, blogger, trauma recovery group facilitator, and pod-cast host, soon to be co-host of a NEW Television series called “When We Talk”, coming in 2023. Writing is also a passion of mine, drawing, and I love helping people find healing.
