Thank you for considering the Grief Recovery Method. I’m Deborah Gallo and I’m honored to help you as you transcend your feelings of grief and loss.
My personal grief history started at a very young age when I lost my beloved Grandfather at age 3. My very first memory is of being a witness to my mother’s sadness but as a toddler, I struggled to understand my deep feelings of loss.
Over the next several decades, I experienced loss and bereavement like most other people. Loss of relationships, loss of loved ones, and loss of expectations of what I thought my life would be like. It wasn’t until my youngest sister died suddenly and unexpectedly i that I felt truly broken inside from the intense feelings of grief and sorrow.
My search for healing led me to the Grief Recovery Method. After attending the seven week one on one sessions with my Grief Specialist, I felt like an enormous weight had been lifted, and I was able to not only heal my heart but also recover from many other losses over the course of my life, including that very first memory of intense sadness.
I cannot overstate the impact that the Grief Recovery Method has had on my life. It’s for that reason that I decided to train and get certified as an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist, so that I can help other grievers transcend the feelings of loss as I walk with them through their grief journey.
I offer a variety of GRM programs, both online and in person in San Diego, California. They include a six week Grief Recovery Support Group, a seven week one on one Grief Recovery Program as well as a six week Pet Loss Program.

This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person or online with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
