I was born and raised in a small Northern European country, Latvia. I lived in the United States for twenty years and currently reside in Latvia, my country of origin. I continue to travel between my two home countries and hold both of them dear to my heart.
I consider myself a life-long seeker of healing and wholeness for myself and others. I have had the honor of accompanying many in search of healing as a professional chaplain and minister. What I have learned on this journey is that all human beings have tremendous resilience to return to wholeness after any life changing events and experiences. Grief Recovery Method (GRM) has given me a new set of tools that has helped me heal my own heart and access resilience after significant losses in life. It has also made me passionate about sharing this transformational method with others so that we can continue creating a more compassionate world one person and one griever at a time.
I am an Advanced GRM Specialist and offer Grief Support one-on-one and Grief Support online.
I am a graduate of the University of Latvia with a BA in Theology and Religious Science, and hold a Masters of Divinity degree from Emory University, Candler School of Theology. I have served in several Latvian Lutheran congregations throughout the eastern U.S. I am also a Board Certified Chaplain with a decade of experience in palliative and end-of-life care. I am truly grateful for the hope of healing I have found through the Grief Recovery Method.
