I am Dr. Marilyn S.(Sanders) Mobley and I discovered the Grief Recovery Method in the wake of my recovery from divorce and my desire to help others heal from divorce and other losses. I found it to be a meaningful tool for moving from the painful aftermath that unfinished business can leave in our lives to what I call "the other side of through." I live at the intersection of my identities as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Professor Emerita of English and African American Studies, published author, Toni Morrison scholar, and an ordained associate pastor. I earned my BA in English from Barnard College of Columbia University, my MA in English from New York University and my PhD in English from Case Western Reserve University. I have done postgraduate work at the Howard University School of Divinity and in Higher Education Executive Leadership at Harvard University. I am a ordained minister in the Church of God. As an Advanced GRM specialist, I offer 1-on-1 support in person and online as well as for groups. I reside in Cuyahoga Falls in the Akron, Ohio metropolitan area.
