Hello my name is Debbie Toth.I grew up in Welland, Ontario. I am a mother of 2 daughters and the youngest of eight children. I grew up in a home where my mother had experienced a lot of grief in her life and it was something we never discussed in detail because it was too painful for my mom. We experienced generational grief. I became fearful of death and loss growing up. I have experienced many losses including loss of relationships, pets, a miscarriage in my 5th month of pregnancy, loss of a sister through suicide, loss of my home, job and marriage, loss of loved ones through cancer and loss of my parents. Loss of my hopes and dreams for the future.
I had tried other programs and read many books but still felt that nothing had changed. It wasn't until I decided after my father passed away that I needed to try something else and that my purpose was to help other people get through what I went through. I decided to take The Grief Recovery Method and become a Certified Specialist. I was able to deal with my loss from a better point of understanding. This not only helped me personally it has helped me to be able to help other individuals suffering from Loss including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD and Trauma. What I learned through the program was how to deal with loss and understand that it is okay to feel sad . I also learned that language we communicate to one another after a loss is so important for recovery from these losses.
I am here to help you through the one on one Grief Recovery Method, group sessions and one on one online and group support. I an here to help you get through your grief and am available to do in person, group settings and zoom or online meetings. Sending lots of love and healing to everyone suffering from a loss.
