Rosie O’Sullivan is a Master’s Level Clinician and Advanced Online Grief Recovery Method Specialist. Rosie is a Mindfulness practitioner and has been trained in Reiki I & II, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindful Self Compassion and Heartmath.
Rosie currently lives in Waltham, Massachusetts. Rosie climbed the ladder to success in Corporate America for over 20 years, but found herself burnt out, stressed, and totally exhausted. Rosie knew this field was not her passion and decided to enroll in graduate school to begin her journey of self discovery and self healing in order to help others do the same.
Rosie was called to her life purpose in the wake of many painful losses in her own life including the tragic drowning of her brother the day after Thanksgiving in November 2016. Only two years later, she lost her father to Lung cancer and has suffered many losses throughout the years including cherished family members, neighbors, friends and pets.
During this painful and difficult time, Rosie researched everything on grief including counselors, grief organizations, sibling loss support groups, books, and meditations. She searched for anything to help herself feel better. Rosie kept seeing these three words pop up online “Grief Recovery Method.” For over a year it slowly seeped into her mind and her heart before she finally decided she was going to take action to heal her hurting heart. Rosie worked with a Grief Recovery Specialist and found it to be “life changing.” After this experience, Rosie decided to become a Grief Recovery Specialist so she can make a difference in people's lives and help them heal their hearts.
Rosie is the co-founder of Mind Wellness Coaching a company that helps people turn their life filled with pain, grief and sorrow into a life filled with joy, love and laughter. Humor is powerful and it's a great coping strategy and stress reliever. Everyone deserves more humor and joy in their lives. When someone is grieving it can be hard to believe they will ever experience these light hearted emotions again, but it is possible.
After Rosie’s brother's tragic death, her heart was broken, shut down and closed. Rosie thought she would never laugh again, something she enjoyed doing on a daily basis. Today Rosie’s heart is wide open and ready to receive all the good things in life including love, joy and happiness. Rosie is smiling and laughing again and she is pursuing her life purpose of helping others heal their broken hearts and finding their way back to their true authentic and vibrant selves.
