Hi, my name is Richard and I’ve recovered from grief! One of my first memories is standing in front of my Great Grandfathers casket, with my mom. She pointed out the small flower arrangement that was from me. Loss visits all our lives; we naturally think of death when we think of grief and grieving. There are over 40 life events that causes grief, including divorce.
My father died from a fall when I was 22 and my wife left me about a year later! And, I’ve had an incomplete family relationship that I needed to recover from. And as recently as this year my marriage of 23 years is no longer.
I lost a business and found myself on social assistance at one point in my life. This was a very difficult time for me, one that I found myself grieving, as grief is the normal and natural response to loss.
The Grief Recovery Method has helped me and now I’m trained to help you navigate the “Method” and heal your broken you heart.
I have served many families as their Funeral Celebrant to honour their loved one with a service of celebration and remembrance. On the happier side of life, I perform 50 plus wedding ceremonies each year!
I look forward to meeting you and guiding you through the Grief Recovery Method.
I am available in the Waterloo Region (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, Guelph, Stratford) for in-person sessions and by Zoom anywhere!
