If you are reading this, there is a high probability that your heart is broken.
My name is Niki Sidle and I am a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio. I received my Masters Degree from The Ohio State University in 2011 and since then have been working with individuals who have experienced grief. I spent a large portion of my career working in hospice and palliative care, providing bereavement support and helping individuals with complex, chronic or life-limiting conditions address their grief. I am now an outpatient therapist in a community mental health agency helping adults care for their mental health, including the grief that many have carried.
Like so many others, I have experienced grief that I never felt was fully complete; from moving often as a child, to the death of loved ones, and even the death of pets. Through my own attendance and then training with The Grief Recovery Method, I have learned that recovery from loss is achieved by a series of small and correct choices made by the griever. It is my intent, along with The Grief Recovery Handbook that you will receive, to explain those action choices to you, and guide you in taking them. I provide one-on-one services in person and via telehealth, as well as groups throughout the year, so if you would like to learn more about the Grief Recovery Method and learn if it is right for you please reach out. Until then, take care.
