As a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist, I am especially passionate about working with leaders in various disciplines and communities, including the expat community, having learned first-hand about the losses experienced by these courageous families. My clients are from all over the world. I speak English and Spanish, am certified to work online, one-on-one or in a group setting. My in person practice is available to my clients in Los Angeles.
The Grief Recovery Method has taught me the steps to heal my heart from the pain and suffering due to loss; past and present (including a previous divorce, relocation, childhood trauma, and abuse). The tools I gained through the Grief Recovery Method have been invaluable and have made me a better mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
My journey with the Grief Recovery Method began in 2004, in my hometown of Los Angeles, California. At the time, I was in a deep state of despair after a series of intense and sudden losses including community, friendships, employment, trust in leadership, and nearly my faith. All of this happened following the breakdown of my church family. As a new mother of two beautiful boys, I was also struggling with post-baby blues and I couldn’t understand why, despite seeking counseling, I wasn’t feeling or getting better. Thankfully, a friend recommended the program and my life changed forever. Since then, I have been a loyal advocate, gifting the GRM Handbook to many grievers.
My background includes 12 years as a Christian missionary in North and South America, 17 years as a full time ministry worker, 20 years as a professional in the non-profit industry, including nationwide/international organizations like the American Cancer Society and the Arthritis Foundation. Also, I have worked as a professional in the artist development and public relations fields with EMI Latin Records, Silverlight Entertainment and Film Roman Animation. I love working with and helping people, and I look forward to meeting you!
