Hi, I’m Kelly.
I live in Mesa, Arizona. I'm a mom of 4 daughters and 2 sons-in-law. We live on a small farm with our dogs, cats, desert tortoises, alpacas, and one playful cow. I have a master's degree in Gerontology from University of Southern California, which is where I discovered the Grief Recovery Method and knew instantly that I wanted to be a part of this work. I am passionate about teaching people the Grief Recovery Method because whether young or old, the tools and skills learned here help us live better and more fulfilling lives now and long into the future.
Here are a few things that I believe.
I believe that every person has a story that deserves to be heard.
I believe that the reason we exist is to find joy.
I believe that everyone goes through seasons where joy is hard to find.
I believe in mourning with those who mourn.
I believe that each of us can grow and change, no matter what age or stage of life we are in.
I believe that as human beings we are resilient. Healing is possible. Not just for other people, but for each of us.
I believe in lifelong learning.
I believe in listening. I believe in compassion. I believe in hope.
I believe in the work I’m doing, or I would not be doing it.
Grief is universal. It affects each and every one of us. But here's the thing -- you don't have to walk through it alone. If you're interested in learning more about what working together would be like either in your personal grief recovery or the Helping Children with Loss class, send me an email or schedule a free 30-minute consultation here: https://calendly.com/kellynorton/free-consultation I would love to talk to you and help support you.
