Jillene Nunes, M. Ed.
Jillene works as a training technician in an organization serving those with intellectual and physical disabilities. Her company asked her to become a Grief Recovery Mehod Specialist to help staff better process grief and loss, and she saw results from the Grief Recovery Method right from the start. Before transitioning to teaching adults in the workforce in 2023, Jillene was an elementary educator teaching 6th grade ELA and Social Studies in Massachusetts. In all her professional roles, Jillene has worn many hats — a public speaker, a leader, a creator, a project manager, a facilitator, a mentor, and finally, a "heart with ears." Jillene is a highly empathetic, service-oriented communicator, driven to enhance and refine learning opportunities in the workforce and beyond.
Jillene provides 1-1 sessions and 8-week group sessions in person in the Southeastern part of Massachusetts.

This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
