I began seeking help for the losses and grief I felt when my husband was diagnosed with a blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma. The experience was so jarring that it felt like our lives had been suddenly hit by a sledgehammer. In pain and fear, I reached out to a peer and friend for counseling who immediately gave me "The Grief Recovery Method Handbook."
While reading the book not only did I realize the Grief Recovery Method program was exactly what I needed to deal with my own past and present losses, but it was the tool I was missing to further assist my clients who were also grieving. I didn’t hesitate to sign up for the training to become a Grief Recovery Method Specialist!
I began pastoral counseling over 20 years ago in Central Florida. To continue counseling my valued clients in Central Florida when I moved, I incorporated online video calling counseling. For over 10 years, my services have been extended with online video calling counseling to many cities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
I was educated at Florida Christian University (Pastoral Counseling, MA Christian Psychology, President’s Award for Achievement), Florida Theological Seminary (Theology Th.D.), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (Life Coach). I continued my education by completing the Grief Recovery Method and the advanced onnline training.
The programs I offer are: Online video calling Grief Recovery Method programs for individuals, and in Ocala, Florida and surrounding cities, the Grief Recovery Method Support Groups, and Pet Loss and Helping Children with Loss Groups.

The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person or online with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
