The Grief Recovery Method has been life changing for me and for those that I have been able to coach through this series of small steps. GRM allowed me to move through the pain of several losses and come to a place where the memories no longer bring incredible pain and sadness but allow some joy to shine through. I learned to grieve the loss of a daughter who was still born at 8 months of pregnancy. I had so many dreams for her future and emotions that I never had a chance to share. The method taught me to grieve in a natural way and helped with those undelivered emotions, dreams, and expectations. Additional losses in my life include divorce, the diagnosis of metal illness for a family member, moves, empty nest and health issues among others. There are over 40 events in life that bring loss. If you are experiencing the emotions of loss, please reach out. Time alone does not heal the pain.
I have a master’s degree in Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and work as a Hospice Chaplain in Bereavement counseling. I am experienced in working with adults, adolescents, and children. I have a special interest in supporting individuals and their loved ones during the end-of-life process and their grief. I love the opportunity to offer the Grief Support Method because of the positive impact I have witnessed.
