Hello my name is Corinne and I live in the suburbs of London in the United Kingdom.
In 2014 I was made redundant from my job of 18 years, a job that I loved and built many friendships at. That same year my best friend died suddenly. We had been friends for 32 years. In 2015 I discovered that both my Dad and my husband who I been with for 15 years had cancer. Sadly, soon after they both lost their brave battle with this devastating disease. 2 months after my Dad death, my 16year old dog died.
After having been through bereavement, divorce, redundancy and pet loss all in a short period of time, I tried to function normally with my daily life and be strong for others while grieving myself but all those losses completely overwhelmed me. I had help via the normal route of counselling which helped me to talk about specific things but it did not shift the sadness in my heart.
By chance I discovered the Grief Recovery Method. Going through the program I felt listened to and for the first time in a long time I felt the weight of loss being lifted from my shoulder and my heart healing. I was finally able to find peace and remember my loved ones with fond memories instead of their final moments.
The program had such a profound effect on me that I decided to train as a specialist myself. I am now a qualified Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist. I offer the program face to face or online. I specialise in bereavement, divorce and Pet Loss but I am happy to listen to any type of loss that you may be dealing with. I am looking forward to supporting you through your healing process. I will listen to you without judgement or criticism in a safe environment so that you can move forward with your grief.
