Hello there and welcome to beginning your first steps in your recovery Journey! my name is Camille and I'm a Certified Bereavement Facilitator, and now Grief Recovery Specialists. My background is in Hospice/ Palliative Care. I've been in the Bereavement, Grief and Loss field for almost 7 years now, and prior to that I worked in assisting running and teaching in state Pre-School programs. So, you can say my passion is serving and teaching others. However, you didn't come here to learn about my work background. You’re here because either you're struggling with some sort of loss, or looking to find new community resources for yourself, friends or your organization. Learning about Grief and Loss through school programs, and textbooks is completely different then when you go through it firsthand. (I guess you can say I have experienced many kinds of losses throughout my life) However it wasn't until I lost my Partner, my future with him to a Motorcycle accident in February of 2022 that completely changed my life and altered the way I look, and think about Grief and Loss, and how to really get through it, and handle it. The Grief Recovery Method helped me in just that - That there is a way through it. We can find peace, acceptance, and light through the other side. We just have to feel and heal through it.
