I am Billie J. Gray, retired assistant superintendent, specialist in behavior and learning challenges, and a grieving mother. I came to the Grief Recovery Institute and Method because of my extreme emotional pain. June 14, 2016, my only child Timothy died at the age of 48 from a debilitating illness. My grief was so overwhelming that I couldn’t see my way out of the dark hole I was in. Then I found out about the Grief Recovery Institute and Method and decided to take the training. This method has helped me so much that I want to use my knowledge to help others who are grieving.
I provide services in Chicago, Il.
This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
