Hello my name is Bernadette Joy Graham. My grief journey started with the sudden death of my mother when I was just a freshman in High School in 1985, a time when mental health was high stigmatized and I was told to just go back to school and deal with it. I found the Grief Recovery Method Certification and Training program after receiving my graduate degree in 2006 with much disappointment that those 3 years of higher education did not offer courses in grief counseling. I attended the certification program in 2007 and to my delight, I felt equipped to begin my journey on helping others to heal from their grief related issues. I am located in Toledo, Ohio. I offer One on One in person grief support. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in private practice. I am an active duty Air Force Veteran having served during the Gulf War.
