The vast majority of parents find themselves at a loss when trying to help their children deal with any grieving experience that impacts them. This 4-week program is designed to teach parents, and others who work with children, the necessary tools to help children effectively deal with their broken hearts, no matter the loss they are facing.

About The Format

This program is taught in four 2.5 hour long sessions offered once a week. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. HCWL Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are structured and action oriented.


A Note From The Presenter:

The cost for this program includes a copy of the book When Children Grieve, which will be mailed to you after we've had our onboarding call. If finances are a concern, partial scholarships may be available upon request.

Hi, I'm Kade (they/them), and I'm a rare second-generation CGRMS located in Central Ohio. I was raised using the tools taught by the Grief Recovery Method and Helping Children With Loss programs, and have grown to genuinely appreciate and value these methods, and would love to help get these shared with as many others as I can.

Professionally, I have a background in graphic design and customer service, working all manner of jobs ranging from food service and retail, to customer service for more corporate/banking entities, to freelance and contracted design work.
