The loss of a pet can be emotionally devastating. Sadly, the impact of the heartbreak of this type of loss is often downplayed or ignored by friends and family. This 6-meeting program is focused on offering pet owners an effective mechanism for taking action to move through and beyond their grief.
About The Format
This program is taught in 6 sessions, either once a week for 6 weeks or twice a week for 3 weeks. There are 2-3 days in between sessions if offered twice a week. Each session is approximately 2 hours long. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. GRM Support Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are confidential, structured and action oriented.
A Note From The Presenter:
Yes, it hurts when you lose a pet. A lot. And when you try to “get over it,” and feel temporary relief from a distraction, over time grief becomes compounded. Sadly, some even give up on their heart’s desire for helping animals.
Please register today to gain specific tools, guidelines, and confidence to cope with loss and the heavy emotions that come with the territory of caring about animals and hearing about pet loss and suffering.
