My name is Mathurine Maxi Louis. I have experienced many losses throughout my life. Although I have been affected by them all, the one loss that marked me the most is the sudden death of my mother. The reason being is that I did not have time to say goodbye to my mom. At eight years of age, I lost my mother. She was only thirty-five years old, and she left five children behind. Ten years later, at eighteen years old, I lost my father, and seven months later, I lost my sister. These losses have seriously impacted my life and left me with unresolved grief. Miraculously, I was introduced to the Grief Recovery Method by my brother. The energy he displayed when talking about the GRM compelled me to research the program. After listening to many testimonies and reading about John and Russell, I signed up to join the program. I cannot be happier and calmer, knowing that my journey to grief recovery is not only helping me, but also helping others who are grieving. I provide Grief Recovery Method services in New York State and surrounding areas including online one on one programs. I hold a master's degree of Social Work and have worked as mental health therapist in numerous institutions.
