A Note From The Presenter:

I am starting this class after many conversations with others who have family members who are addicted and others who have family members who are in active addiction and have been in addiction.
Some of the areas that this class might help are the following.
This class is also for those who have family members who are in prison or have been in prison.
Coping with a family member in prison, Support groups for families of prisoners, How to deal with guilt/shame/anger when a loved one is in prison, Families of incarcerated loved ones, Tips for coping with a loved one in prison, and Stories of families impacted by incarceration, Online help for family members in prison and looking to heal.
This list is not inclusive.
Your grief can be of any kind.
I am looking forward to working with you.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Presented by:
Frank Wyatt

My name is Frank Wyatt, and I live in the Dayton, Ohio, area near Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn, Ohio.

I went to the Grief Recovery Specialist training with the idea that I would be able to help our client population who have been in Prison or are facing some type of legal issue.

At the training, I found how Grief has affected me in ways I have not thought of.

This training was the most impactful training I have ever attended in my career. I discovered that I have unresolved Grief. What I realized was how damaging these unresolved griefs have been in my life.

I work with those who have Substance Abuse Issues as well.
