The loss of a pet can be emotionally devastating. Sadly, the impact of the heartbreak of this type of loss is often downplayed or ignored by friends and family. This 6-meeting program is focused on offering pet owners an effective mechanism for taking action to move through and beyond their grief.

About The Format

This program is taught in 6 sessions, either once a week for 6 weeks or twice a week for 3 weeks. There are 2-3 days in between sessions if offered twice a week. Each session is approximately 2 hours long. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. GRM Support Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are confidential, structured and action oriented.

A Note From The Presenter:

Losing a cherished pet can evoke profound grief and emotional distress. My six-week online peer support group, commencing on July 23rd at 6:00pm MT (5:00pm PT, 7:00pm CT, 8:00pm ET), is dedicated to guiding individuals through this unique journey of healing. Utilizing the renowned Grief Recovery Method®, participants will receive compassionate support to find solace and peace.

Please note, the group requires a minimum number of registrants; if this is not met, options include joining a waiting list, enrolling in the next available group (typically starting in 8 weeks), or considering independent coaching with Ramsey.

First and foremost, I want to commend you for taking the courageous step of seeking help in your grieving process. You've come to the right place. The Grief Recovery Method has been an immense support for me during my times of need, first in 2020 and again in 2023 when I became certified as a specialist. My journey has been marked by significant loss from a very young age. The events that led me to the Grief Recovery Method include the heartbreaking loss of my brother to an overdose in December 2019 and, just three months later, my mother's diagnosis with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, and her passing in 2021.
