I had no idea I had forgotten so many wonderful things about the parent I did my graph on. I am very grateful to have had this opportunity for appreciation and closure.

It was very helpful. I was surprised by how much better I felt at the end of the workshop.

Occasionally out of the blue, I am reminded by something I say that I took this program and I often mention it to others

The program has provided me with the skillset to not only benefit with coping with the death of my mother, but also for coping with current relationships with people that are living. It has helped me to have closure on my grief with losing my mother. At first, during Class 1 and maybe even some of Class 2, I wasn't sure where this program was leading, as I was expecting more of a Support Group structure in working through the grief. I would have liked to have had a better understanding of the program up front, so I could have been better prepared as to what I would learn. But once I got passed the first week and into the 2nd class, I began to understand what the structure and purpose of the class was, and what it was supposed to lead to. As the facilitator helped me work through the Relationship Graph, I began to remember things I'd hadn't thought of in ages. And it helped bring the whole entire relationship with my mother into focus.

we just finished yesterday but I noticed all along the process that I was more aware that somehow beyond my understanding I was feeling listened to and better than when I arrived

Marie was very helpful in helping me to uncover and better understand my own feelings. She was sincere and gave me a feeling of honesty and compassion, while helping to steer me along through the program. She was very good at applying the concepts in the book to real life, and my life situation in particular. The skills she helped me learn are not only beneficial for coping better with the death of my mother, but will be very helpful in coping with some of my current relationships that are not so great.

Writing the completion letter was so very hard for me. It brought up all the intense pain i had been feeling and even led me to have suicidal thoughts again. But the more i read and re-read my letter i came to realize that i was saying good bye to my grief, good bye to my pain.
