I was very impressed with my instructors ability to navigate the material while managing the room efficiently. Ed is caring and passionate about the method and sharing it with the world. I was comfortable and shown grace while also being emotionally protected. While I am emotionally spent, I learned a great deal. I was able to work through an issue I'd carried for many years. The Grief Recovery Method offers counselors a tool to help walk people through their grief. Grieving people will often need more that being able to discuss their feelings and experience and request to physically do something. I believe that this will be a powerful tool during my chaplaincy care of veterans and their families.

The Grief Recovery Method Certification training is that it helped me to understand how easy it is to keep feelings of sadness and fear deep inside my heart. Our teacher, Ed Owens, gently and compassionately guide us to become aware of our true emotions, express them out loud and let go of the pain from them. I'm grateful to have such an empathic leader to help me realize how much our hearts can be healed. To be educated in such a heart centered way feels rewarding and transformative. Thank you!

I was looking for a Certification to become a Grief Counsellor & stumbled across the Grief Recovery Institute. I read up on the courses offered & decided to sign up. Lets just say that the GRM superseded every expectation I had. The Instructors guided me through a loss using this method & I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me. I look forward to bringing others to the same place of freedom using the GRM.
