Hi, I'm Kimberly! I grew up always believing that life was supposed to be more joyful, loving and connected than I experienced in my life and in my relationships. I was told directly or indirectly by people and by the world to contain my Joy and light, to not stand out or be “too much”, and to not get “too excited” for things because life and people will just let you down. Deep down, I felt and knew this was total crap (ha ha), and I carried much grief and longing for what I knew was the Truth.
Who knew that just 1 month after turning 40, I’d be suddenly divorced, lost, and completely broken apart…. AND that THIS brokenness and darkness would be the hidden light that would lead me into that life and Truth I had always dreamt of!
Through a courageous, bumpy, and even magical experience of deeply grieving my marriage AND the grief I’d held in her body for 40 years, and fully allowing myself to feel it all, I have now transformed my life from one of fear, shame, anxiety and longing into one of more Joy, love, creativity, purpose, and passion greater than I ever believed was possible! (but at the same time did know!!). In learning how to love myself fully through devastating loss and grief, I am on a path of learning what true self-love and unbridled joy truly is! The two (what I like to call) superpowers of my journey through grief have been the incredible Grief Recovery Method and the powerful, nurturing somatic tool EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) 'Tapping'! :)
