Greetings and thank you for considering me as a Specialist. My name is Mary Young. I am an Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist from Northern Minnesota. I became interested in grief work after walking through a number of losses in my own life. As a former "emotional stuffer", I discovered losses that were buried deep inside me through GRM.
I'd thought about training in the area of grief for some time. In 2012 , I came across an invitation for The Grief Recovery Method Certification training, and thought: "Why not?... If not now, when?" So... I signed up. I am so thankful I did!! This Method has helped me uncover and heal from losses in ways I could not have even imagined. This program of action simply works; and, I continue to use the "tools" I have learned to this day.
I have been guiding people through The Method since 2014; and I am truly honored and humbled every time I'm given the opportunity to help someone heal. I work with individuals one-to-one; and, as an Advanced Specialist, I am able to meet with individuals online, as well - anywhere in the world.
Enhancing my work as a GRM Specialist, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I have been in private practice since 2011. As an LPCC with over twenty years of experience in mental health, I am dedicated to helping others find their balance, work towards positive changes in their lives. My goal is to help others resolve whatever concerns they may have. As a GRM Specialist, the most meaningful part of my work is helping others heal from whatever losses they have or are experiencing.
