Hi - I'm Chaplain Ryan. I came to Grief Recovery Method to support my chosen purpose of helping others reduce unnecessary personal suffering. My work began years ago when my best friend chose to complete suicide, a few short months after I returned from Iraq. I have used this product personally several times—once recently as my own pet (more like fur-child, Hunter, a 12 year old boxer dog) passed away. I will never ask you to do anything I myself have not done—or continue to do.
As an endorsed Chaplain and Interfaith Counselor, I appreciate the opportunity to now offer Online 1:1 Private Sessions with this evidence-based approach, as one who is more than able and willing to treat you with the level of professionalism, empathy, and sensitivity you need during this time. I offer free service to Active Duty Army and their Dependents, with the option of meeting in person for those serving at Fort Hood.
I am a non-denominational Chaplain—I have a Master of Divinity from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI. I support people from all walks of life, and encourage my Clients to rely on their personal faith when able, without religious pressure of any kind. Prior to chaplaincy, my professional experience was in infantry work (US Army), Emergency Pre-hospital Combat Care, and Outpatient Nursing Care, which makes me uniquely suited to connect with frontline workers such as Soldiers, Veterans, and Healthcare Workers today. Let's get in touch so we can answer any questions, talk soon!
