Michelle is providing in-person grief counseling services for the Plumas, Sierra and Lassen Counties of California as well as world-wide with conference calling technology. She continues to be the Salvation Army Representative for Eastern Plumas County as she has been for the last 6 years. She was program manager of the CalOES funded Rape Crisis Program for Plumas County for 6 years. During this time, she built strong relationships with the community including community leaders, law enforcement and local charitable organizations. Michelle enjoys public speaking and is proud of teaching a generation of Plumas County children the “My Body Belongs to Me” program in the local public-school system. Michelle received her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Harris University and is currently working on her Doctorate, conducting a study on grief recovery and writing a book. Michelle believes that grief recovery is the fastest, most useful method to vastly increase global sanity and individual actualization.
