Welcome,
My name is Karen, and I am a Grief Recovery Method Specialist with a Master’s degree in Psychology. My background includes a special focus on early childhood trauma, loss, and grief. I also hold a deep commitment to supporting our military service members as they return from deployment and face the challenges of reintegration.
My personal journey with loss—losing both of my parents in consecutive years—showed me firsthand how overwhelming grief can be for individuals and families. During this time, my son introduced me to the Grief Recovery Method through his own counseling experience. That introduction was life-changing, and it inspired me to dedicate myself fully to this work.
The Grief Recovery Method is an educational program that equips individuals with practical tools and knowledge to address grief in all its forms. Whether the loss is of a loved one, a relationship, health, career, or another meaningful part of life, the program helps participants process, heal, and move forward with greater peace and fulfillment.
I offer both one-on-one sessions and small group settings. While I enjoy the connection and shared understanding that group work provides, I also tailor sessions to the needs and comfort level of each individual. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can put words to your grief, begin to heal, and rediscover joy in life.
I currently serve the Woodlands, Magnolia, Conroe, and Spring-Klein areas of Texas, and I am also available online to work with clients nationwide. Please feel free to reach out to me via phone, text, or email with any questions.
