I was first introduced to the Grief Recovery Method in 2022 when my therapist recommended the program to me. I had been off work for a few months on medical leave, newly married, and in the process of relocating from Canada to Ireland. I completed the program the day before I left for Ireland and the timing could not have been more perfect. I found myself able to embark on this new chapter of my life with my husband with far less burden on my heart. A year later, my husband encouraged me to pursue the training to be become a certified specialist.
We have since relocated to Heidelberg, Germany, where I will be offering the program in English while I work on improving my German language skills (Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch). Having B1 or B2 level English should be sufficient to participate, but we can chat more about that if you are unsure. Also, I will be working on sourcing a printer for the handbook in other languages. In-person, I will be serving the Rhein-Neckar region. Online, people living in Europe will likely find the session times more convenient than elsewhere (Central European Time - CET), though, all are welcome. Both formats will be offered for groups or 1:1.
