Time Doesn't Heal Grief

Grief emotional pain baggage time broken heart recovery hope

"Where were you when I needed you?"

I hear this question a lot. Usually, it's on an airplane or at a party. I always respond that I help people with grief. The reply I hear most often is, "Where were you when I needed you?"

Whether they experienced a death, divorce or other type of loss the implication is that they don't need Grief Recovery help at this point.

Why?

Because time passed.

What many people don’t know is that time doesn’t heal a broken heart. It only lessens the intensity of pain.

While less intense emotional pain is nice, imagine feeling complete.

You know now people say they are still carrying around baggage. Imagine a life where the baggage no longer weighs you down? That’s what the Grief Recovery Method offers. We help you discover the things you wish you would have said or done differently, the dreams that never came true, the apologies you never gave or received, and help you heal.

Unresolved grief is life-limiting. It affects intimacy with your kids, spouse, colleagues, and friends. It doesn't just go away with time.
